After so many years of oblivion, the city of Livorno wanted to pay homage to one of its most illustrious citizens: Giotto Bizzarrini, the genius from whose mind came the projects of the most iconic cars in the history of motoring such as the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada.
There were three days of exhibitions, debates, projections of films of the time where, for this exceptional occasion, a small and selected number of cars were invited, 5 in all, to represent the production of the engineer from Livorno: the Fiat 500 Topolino “Vetturetta”, the very first creation by Bizzarrini, the Iso Grifo A3/C Corsa, the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada, the GT 1900 Europa and the Ferrari 275 GTB.
Great interest was aroused by the presence of Eng. Maltinti and Stefano Volpi, respectively head of the engine department and manager of the racing sector of Bizzarrini Automobili in the period who, together with Gianluca Bardelli, son of the great Gianfranco, owner of the historic dealership and assistance workshop of Iso Rivolta and Bizzarrini of Rome, recalled facts, anecdotes and curiosities from the golden years of the brand.
Ebimotors Classic was present with the 1964 Iso Grifo A3/C Corsa.
