Great success with the public and participants for the 27th edition of the Vernasca Silverflag which saw 203 cars selected by the committee out of the more than 250 applications received at the starting line of the dynamic concours of elegance and restoration.
Unfortunately the weather was not forgiving especially on Saturday morning when a pouring rain accompanied the crews on the road that leads from Castell'Arquato to the fortress of Vernasca.
The particularly qualified jury, which also included our own Pietro Silva, had the difficult task of identifying the 22 cars that achieved victory in the various categories they belong to. Ebimotors Classic was present with the De Tomaso Pantera Gr. 4 which achieved victory in its class reserved for GT cars after the war. Best of Show is the spectacular Porsche 904 from 1964, the only example existing in Italy and in a perfect state of efficiency and conservation.
