The month of June is now synonymous with Vernasca Silverflag, the event that recalls the Castell'Arquato - Vernasca, an uphill race that was held with great success from 1953 to 1972 in the splendid setting of the Valdarda a few km from Piacenza.
In its 27th edition, the "Dynamic Restoration and Conservation Concours" brings together around 200 racing cars built up to 1972 in the magical medieval village of Castell'Arquato, where time seems to have stopped.
For the Jury and Selection Committee, the work already begins a few weeks before the event, having the difficult task of selecting the cars admitted among the approximately 300 applications that arrive each year at the CPAE, Circolo Piacentino Auto d'Epoca, organizer of the event.
Also this year, Ebimotors Classic will be present with Pietro Silva, member of the Jury, and with the De Tomaso Pantera Gr.4 which, in this edition, will be driven by none other than Mario Casoni, legend of Italian motoring and beyond, who with that same car he won the 1973 Giro Automobilistico d'Italia and the Italian GT Championship.
