PAVIA VENEZIA 2026

The 73rd edition of the Pavia Venezia, the longest and oldest freshwater powerboat race in the world, will kick off this weekend at 418 km.

Ninety-one boats from various nations and in numerous categories will be competing, from the very fast Formula 2 boats capable of exceeding 200 km/h to Class 3 offshore boats, fast touring boats, and racers.

There will also be 16 historic boats, divided into six racers, nine traditional hull boats, and a catamaran.

Numerous notable figures will also be taking part: among them Tullio Abbate Jr., multiple champion, son of the great Tullio; Gianluca Roda, winner of numerous motor racing titles at the wheel of Porsches and Ferraris; and, among the historic boats, the 1982 Abbate Rothmans Trophy, officially registered by the Como-based shipyard and powered by an official Suzuki four-stroke engine, will be driven by our own Pietro Silva, Offshore World Champion in 1981, crewed by Alberto Scuro, president of ASI and FIVA.

They will also be joined by Francesco Marinoni, president of the Associazione Barche Storiche da Corsa (Historic Racing Boats Association), who will compete with his son and grandson, and Claudio Tovaglieri, also crewed by his son, president of the ASI Flying and Powerboating Commission.

Ebimotors Classic is once again a protagonist in historic powerboat racing.

This impressive starting lineup is perfectly in keeping with the prestige and importance of this event, which we will keep you updated about throughout its duration.
