This event marks a milestone in the historical motoring of the Capital, because it sees the return, after decades, of an international-level event in the heart of Rome. For this first event, which constituted the dress rehearsal for future editions, the organizers decided to invite, at their discretion, thirty cars of absolute level and importance even if, as soon as the news of the event's realization leaked out, requests for participation from all over the world.
