After months of waiting we are finally back to racing!
The 2020 Alfa Revival Cup experienced its first round of 2020 in the splendid setting of the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola.
We are well prepared to face the race on Sunday 12 July.
After several test sessions previously held on the Tazio Nuvolari circuit, Walter Ben and Pietro Silva scored excellent part-times, thanks also to the excellent work of the mechanics to set up the car.
The bad news, however, came after the race was over. The number 98 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm was excluded from the standings for a sample check on the car.
The disqualification was motivated by the non-use of the Hans safety collar. Many other pilots did not have the same device, but despite the controversy the decision was irrevocable.
Despite this misunderstanding, we did not stop and we are ready for the next round of the 2020 Alfa Revival Cup on the Lazio circuit of Vallelunga in September.
